MIS Network Utilities LAN Survey 1.2.9.8 Free Downloads at Simtel.net LAN Survey is a Client/Server inventory tool that monitors and tracks computers, printers, software, ODBC, RAS, IP numbers and network logons. LAN Survey also contains a folder contents tracker and a file version monitor. The scanner compares the current configuration with the previous one and logs detected modications in the database.

You may record helpdesk calls and system maintenance in the integrated logbook and add additional information like suppliers, other equipment, locations and warranty.

Single point of installation, no additional client setup required. You can examine the database from all computers : there is no need for dedicated managements consoles. Use the included Intranet module for Microsoft Internet Information Server to access the database with the Internet Explorer or Netscape. Link your own or third party programs using the included ODBC driver and the command line interface. Define your own database queries and save them as Excel sheet.

Remote scanning is supported on Microsoft Windows NT, 2000, 2003 and XP computers without the need to install agent software. Run the command line scanner during a clients logon for automatic database updates.
